What was the highlight of J4 Hotels Legian
Better communication is needed between booking agent and hotel.
The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly.
Lack of communication between hotel and booking agent. Eg. I requested a twin beds and was given a double bed and as the hotel was booked out had to share a double bed on the first night. I PAID for breakfast but that was not recorded, however the staff management kindly agreed to supply breakfast.

Vibrant gem in the heart of city
Bed was comfy, air con was great, had a fridge, pool was fantastic and food/drink options really good. Location cluse to lots of popular things including Poppies lane, mall, shops, restaurants and beach. The staff were fantastic and helpful.
The room was quite dark and would benefit from better lighting and had a damp smell which was noticeable each time you came into the room.

Three Star
Staff were very friendly and accomodating. They try their best to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. The room is very clean and nice to come home to with the aircon on after a long day out on tour and shopping and you're sweating, hot and tired. If you're looking for ATM machine there is the minimart opp the hotel and it's trustworthy because I've withdrawn money from there and have not recieved notifications of fraud from my bank. The hotel is central to everything and the front cafè has nice hot drinks with fresh pastries to have while you're waiting for your tour guide or just to enjoy while relaxing in the lobby.
The smell of sewer when you turn on the shower everytime. Tiny bugs and cockroaches in the bathroom. Room service is good but would not recommend medium rare sirloin steak as it tasted like something terrible and definately not steak. I bought a cup of hot choc and a butter croissant from the front cafè in the afternoon to take upstairs to eat in my room. When I touched the croissant it felt like a rock so I rang reception and they put me through to the cafè. I was told it was fresh. I said 'you can come and taste the croissant yourself and it is rock hard'. Staff apologised and brought a plate full of fresh pastries. The food on the menus whether room service or Saturdays Barbeque Buffet is served in small sizes or in small portions. To their credit the breakfast buffet makes up for it.
